Absolutely — your four-legged companions are very welcome at Star Cottage for an additional £25 per dog. The fully enclosed garden is a safe and secure space for dogs to roam freely, and Whitstable has plenty of dog-friendly beaches, pubs, and cafés to explore.

The sea is no more than a 15 minute walk from the cottage — an easy stroll through the town. The harbour, beach, and coastal path are all within comfortable walking distance.

Whitstable train station is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the cottage, with direct services to London Victoria and Canterbury. Local bus routes also connect to Canterbury and surrounding areas, making it easy to explore the region without a car.
