Star Cottage
Built in the 1840s, steeped in history and carefully renovated, Star Cottage is a cosy two-bedroom cottage just off Canterbury Road in the heart of Whitstable. With local cafés, restaurants, and shops on your doorstep, and the sea only a short stroll away, it’s a perfect spot for couples, families and friends looking to unwind, relax and explore the local area. Baby and dog-friendly, the cottage is designed for easy, relaxed stays where you can enjoy the simple pleasures of the coast.

Star Cottage can accommodate up to 4 people, containing two bedrooms, one with ensuite, a large open plan kitchen and dining room that leads directly out to an enclosed garden perfect for alfresco dining and relaxing in the late evening sun after a busy day exploring. The separate lounge area is a cozy space perfect for unwinding with a good book or watching the TV. Books, board games and toys can be found in the lounge, basic supplies of coffee, tea, sugar etc. in the kitchen and bed linen and towels supplied to enable your holiday to start from day 1.

Bedrooms
Star Cottage features two beautifully presented double bedrooms, designed with comfort in mind. One bedroom benefits from a modern ensuite, while both offer cosy king size beds, contemporary décor, and a calm, restful feel—perfect for unwinding after a day by the sea.
Kitchen
The modern, fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a relaxed self-catering stay, including an oven, electric hob, fridge, microwave, and all essential cookware. The spacious open-plan layout flows into a dedicated dining area, making it ideal for family meals or slow breakfasts. The back door leads directly out onto a decked area with bistro table and chairs, with two further seating/dining areas in the garden for larger groups.

The inviting lounge is a great place to relax, with TV and comfortable sofas—ideal for putting your feet up after a busy day discovering the local area or enjoying a quiet evening in.
Garden
The fully enclosed garden is a real highlight, offering a safe and secure space for furry friends. With two seating areas, it’s perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, an evening drink, or simply relaxing outdoors.
